What you'll do:
As a Material Analyst, you will be at the forefront of managing dry goods materials in support of the Portfolio Harmonisation agenda. Your role will involve working closely with various teams including Make, Move, Plan, Procurement, TCE, Global Suppliers and 3rd Party Rework Sites. You will be responsible for ensuring best in class service while supporting Project Managers to deliver against timelines and project targets. Your end-to-end ownership of materials per project will hold you accountable for spend against project budget and write off.
- Ensure availability of materials in accordance with project requirements and timelines
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors to ensure provision of material requirements
- Control material depletion in line with project budget, providing recommendations on how to minimise cost impact
- Support smooth transition to business as usual for new launches considering supply constraints and securing materials for future demand
- Provide clear and accurate updates to Project Team on material availability
- Manage vendor collaboration, providing material requirements and phased delivery plans
What you bring:
The ideal Material Analyst candidate brings a wealth of skills to the table. Your excellent Excel skills allow you to interrogate data effectively while your strategic thinking enables you to manage trade-offs efficiently. You are proactive in identifying and resolving issues before they escalate. Your strong communication skills enable you to work seamlessly with project managers, suppliers, procurement teams, market planners, and supply planners. Your excellent arithmetic skills coupled with your proficiency in SAP DEP make you an asset in this role.
