Our client, MKB Investment Management, is seeking a Tax Manager for their EMEA region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global company with a strong presence in the investment management sector.
The successful candidate will be based in Amsterdam, Netherlands and will play a crucial role in managing tax-related matters for Mitsui group companies across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic team and contribute to the business development through advice in related fields.
What you'll do:
As the Tax Manager (EMEA), you will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax support for Mitsui group companies across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Your role will involve:
- Handle various daily tax consultations (indirect tax, CIT, TP and other tax issues) to manage the group’s EMEA tax position
- Collect and share tax reform information in a timely manner
- Deliver tax seminars to local offices
- Support communication between local offices and Mitsui HQ
- Consult with Mitsui group companies and tax advisers related to new business development in the EMEA region from a tax point of view
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and compliance, and transfer pricing documentation
- Respond to inquiries from tax authorities
What you bring:
As our ideal Tax Manager (EMEA), you bring experience working at an Accounting / Tax firm or advising multinational or listed companies for indirect tax. (A background at Big 4 or multinational firms would be advantageous.)
- Excellent knowledge of (indirect) tax law and EU tax law
- Working knowledge of Accounting preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Proactive and flexible attitude
- Collaborative approach to colleagues
- Fluent Dutch language skills preferred, because you will correspond with the Dutch tax authorities
- Fluent English language skilss are essential
What you get:
- Gross annual salary between EUR90,000 and EUR100,000 (including holiday allowance), depending on experience
- Annual bonus up to 15%
- Pension contribution
- Holiday leave of 25 days + 4 days additional
- Travel reimbursement (standard rates)
