Fund Controller

A growing financial services firm is currently looking for a Fund Controller to join its dynamic Fund Team in Amsterdam Zuid. In this position, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of investment funds and acting as a key point of contact for clients. You’ll take ownership of fund administration and ensure accurate and timely reporting, working in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external parties.

Key responsibilities:

• Independently maintain fund administrations

• Process invoices and prepare payment proposals

• Prepare NAV statements and periodic fund reports

• Handle closings, draw downs, and distributions at investor level

• Calculate performance fees for fund managers

• Ensure correct valuation of portfolio companies

• Assist in fund launches, including subscription form review and KYC checks

• Prepare reports for regulatory bodies (e.g., Dutch Tax Authorities, AFM, DNB)

• Monitor fund activities for compliance with fund terms

• Assist in drafting annual reports and compiling related documentation

• Handle VAT and dividend tax filings

• Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries and ensure timely follow-up

Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accountancy, Business Economics, or similar

• 2 to 5 years of experience in a comparable role within financial services or fund administration

• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and a proactive, solutions-driven attitude

• Team-oriented, communicative, and able to work under pressure

• Fluent in Dutch and/or English
