For a trading firm in Amsterdam, we are currently recruiting for an Interim Technical Trading Compliance Officer. Within the role of interim Technical Trading Compliance Officer, you will be involved in managing MIFID Regulatory Reporting with a strong focus on technical aspects and implementations. Essential to daily operations, the position requires expertise in regulatory compliance and technical problem-solving to ensure seamless reporting activities. This means that you assist with the implementation and maintenance of different scripts, e.g. in Python or Excel, that are used for MIFID Regulatory Reporting. Additionally, the role includes managing other trading compliance processes from both technical and regulatory perspectives. To be successful you need to ensure the integrity and continuity of daily reporting and compliance operations, requiring strong expertise in technical problem-solving and regulatory adherence.

Main Responsibilities:
• Focus on MIFID Regulatory Reporting, handling its technical aspects and implementations
• Support daily reporting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance processes and support technical implementations
• Analyze regulatory updates and apply changes to reporting protocols as required

Profile:
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Excel and/or VBA
• Knowledge with MIFID Regulatory Reporting is a plus.
• Good understanding of regulatory reporting technical standards is a strong plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in daily operations

Assignment:
Start date: Mid of August / begin of September
Days per week: 5 days
Duration: 6 months
Contract: Freelance/ZZP
