Group Controller
For a leading technology partner in the electronics industry in Eindhoven I am looking for a Group Controller.
To further strengthen our finance organization, we are looking for a Group Controller who brings a strong finance and controlling mindset, combined with hands-on execution and people leadership. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will act as a financial sparring partner for the operating companies, with a clear focus on working capital management, cash & liquidity, and financial insight across the group. In addition, you will be responsible for leading the central Accounts Receivable (collections) team in the Netherlands, ensuring timely cash inflow and continuous improvement in AR performance. This role is well suited for a Finance Manager or Group Controller from a multi-entity environment who is ready for a broader, group-level role with operational responsibility and impact.
Key Responsibilities Controlling & Business Partnering
- Act as a financial sparring partner for OpCo Finance Managers and Business Controllers.
- Translate financial data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for management.
- Drive alignment and consistency in working capital management across subsidiaries.
Working Capital & Cash Performance
- Lead and coordinate working capital optimization initiatives (inventory, receivables, payables)
- Monitor cash conversion cycles and identify improvement opportunities at OpCo level
- Support management in improving cash discipline and forecasting quality
Operations (Hands-on)
- Manage and monitor group-wide cash and liquidity
- Lead the short- and medium-term cash flow forecasting process
- Handle day-to-day activities, including
- Communication with banks
- Executing simple FX transactions (buying/selling small volumes)
- Managing daily cash positions in the Coupa Management System (TMS)
Accounts Receivable & Team Leadership
- Lead and develop the central Accounts Receivable / collections team in the Netherlands
- Drive timely and effective collections across the group
Reporting & Governance
- Prepare cash, workingcapital, and AR reports for the CFO and senior management
- Support banking relationships, financing discussions, and covenant reporting
- Improve cash, and AR-related processes, controls, and reporting structures
Profile
Your Profile
• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Finance Management, Group Controlling, FP&A, or similar roles.
• Proven experience in a multi-entity environment (e.g. 2–3+ subsidiaries).
• Strong track record in working capital management, including receivables.
• Experience managing or coordinating teams is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable combining analytical controlling work with hands-on execution.
• Pragmatic, proactive, and confident in challenging stakeholders constructively.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Coupa, SAP) is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, with Dutch languange proficiency a strong advantage
