The role

As Financial Controller, you will play a key role in strengthening and further professionalising the Finance function. You will be responsible for accurate financial reporting, forecasting, internal controls, and supporting management with reliable financial insights.

Working in a project-driven international environment, you will collaborate closely with finance teams across multiple countries and contribute to improving financial processes and reporting quality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports, forecasts, and budgets
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare statutory financial statements and support the external audit
• Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Identify risks and drive process improvements
• Support international entities in Europe and Asia with reporting and financial coordination
• Contribute to cash flow forecasting and financial planning

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Control
• Experience within engineering, manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, or oil & gas environments
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and internal controls
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 is a plus)
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Hands-on, analytical, and able to operate independently

• Salary between €80,000 and €100,000 gross per year, including holiday allowance
