Interim Financial Controller

As an Interim Financial Controller, you will provide hands-on financial control expertise during a period of change, transition, or increased business demand. You will quickly take ownership of financial reporting, month-end closing, management reporting, and internal controls, ensuring that financial information remains accurate, timely, and reliable.

• Take ownership of the financial control activities and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Review financial results, balance sheet positions, and key P&L movements.
• Perform balance sheet reviews and ensure appropriate reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Monitor and strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.
• Act as a key point of contact for auditors and support internal and external audit activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, systems, and controls.
• Ensure a smooth handover and effective knowledge transfer at the end of the interim assignment.

About You

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in financial controlling, accounting, or a similar Finance role.
• Proven experience in an interim, project-based, or rapidly changing environment.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting, reporting, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to quickly understand a new organization, systems, processes, and business model.
• Hands-on, pragmatic, and comfortable taking ownership from day one.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to operate independently while working effectively with Finance and business teams.
