Interim Accountant

For a Fintech company in Amsterdam recruiting for an Interim Accountant. The role sits in the Dutch entity, which just was accepted for AFM licensing. They will also be responsible for accounting for our UK cost-plus entity. Start: asap Duration: 3 months Hours: full-time or minimum 3 days

Responsibilities Interim Accountant:

• Month-end close and reporting for the Dutch entity into a US parent
• Ensure financial records are complete, accurate and compliant with local and international accounting standards (IFRS) for monthly, quarterly and annual close processes
• Dutch statutory reporting and liaison with the local auditor
• VAT and other local filings
• Intercompany accounting and support on transfer pricing documentation
• Coordination with our US controller and finance team

Requirements Interim Accountant:

• Hands-on accounting manager or senior accountant experience, preferably within fintech
• Dutch GAAP and statutory reporting
• Experience in a regulated financial services entity (AFM exposure is a strong plus)
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus
• Nice to have: NetSuite multi-entity experience, US GAAP reporting to a US parent.
