Senior HR Policy & Compensation Specialist

FMO is looking for a Senior HR Policy & Compensation Specialist to strengthen the HR team. In this senior role, you will contribute to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of FMO’s HR policies and frameworks, with a particular focus on Compensation & Benefits.
You will translate legislation, market developments and business priorities into clear, consistent and future-proof HR policies.
What you will do:
- Develop, review and implement HR policies and frameworks, with a strong focus on Compensation & Benefits;
- Translate legislation, market developments and organisational priorities into practical and future-proof HR policies for an international organisation;
- Lead strategic HR policy projects, like a pension scheme renewal and the implementation of the EU Pay Transparency Directive;
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with Dutch employment legislation, pension legislation, Collective Labour Agreements and other relevant regulations and guidelines;
- Develop, improve and maintain compensation and benefits frameworks, including salary structures, job grading, incentives, benefits and reward programmes;
- Advise HR, managers and senior leadership on HR policy, reward and employment-related matters;
- Contribute to discussions and negotiations related to the Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) within the Dutch banking sector;
- Collaborate with amongst others HR, Finance (Payroll), Legal &Tax and external providers to continuously improve reward policies and employee experience.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field;
- At least 5 years of HR experience, combined with (strong) expertise in Compensation & Benefits;
- Experience within financial services or an international organisation is preferred;
- Strong knowledge of Dutch labour law, pensions and reward frameworks;
- Experience with salary benchmarking, job grading, incentives and benefits;
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with Excel and HR systems.
- Proven project and change management capabilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is strongly preferred.
