As Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the production site. You will lead teams, drive operational excellence and ensure outstanding results in safety, quality, delivery, cost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

You will combine strong leadership with technical expertise to continuously improve our manufacturing processes and build a high-performing organization.

Your responsibilities

Safety & Quality

• Develop and strengthen a strong safety culture with a zero-accident mindset.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
• Drive quality improvements and promote a zero-defect culture.
• Lead problem-solving initiatives to eliminate root causes.

Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure efficient production while meeting safety, quality and cost targets.
• Improve processes through Lean Manufacturing, OPEX and continuous improvement methods.
• Reduce waste and increase operational efficiency.
• Develop sustainable manufacturing solutions for future growth.

Maintenance & Logistics

• Ensure reliable plant operations through effective maintenance strategies.
• Improve equipment performance through preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Manage production planning, logistics activities and material availability.

Leadership & People Development

• Lead, coach and develop plant teams to achieve high performance (42 fte).
• Build a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Ensure effective workforce planning and HR processes.

Customers & Business Performance

• Build strong relationships with customers and understand their needs.
• Work closely with Sales and other departments to exceed customer expectations.
• Manage plant budgets, improve profitability and optimize costs.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5-10 years of leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience in packaging, plastics and/or blow molding is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, OPEX and continuous improvement.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Fluent English and Dutch skills, written and spoken.

• A competitive salary between €100,000 and €120,000 gross per year, depending on experience and background.
