I enjoy spending time with my colleagues
After studying Commercial Economics, I started working for a small recruitment organization for two and a half years before being approached by Robert Walters in the summer of 2018. At the time that I was approached, I was not really looking for a career switch. However, after having a cup of coffee at the Rotterdam office this all changed. The personal approach and professionalism at Robert Walters immediately caught my attention. And of course, the office with the beautiful view was a plus!
I am goal-oriented and am willing to work hard to achieve my goals. I like achieving things that were considered impossible beforehand. With every mediation I commit myself fully to my clients and candidates and make sure that nothing surpasses my attention. The finance interim market is very dynamic, making efficient working, fast switching and clear communication very important. By remaining critical and reflecting on what I could’ve done differently, I continue to challenge and improve myself. The great thing about recruitment is that you never stop learning and there is always room for improvement.
At Robert Walters you will work in a specialized, international environment, where age and experience don’t determine your success but rather your own commitment and performance. Everyone is assessed based on their own performance. You can for example make progress very quickly by attending trainings sessions that are offered. Additionally, when you’re first joining Robert Walters, you will attend an onboarding program. After this program you move onto a training program tailored to your specific level. These training programs allow you to familiarize yourself with the field of recruitment.
My coworkers are extroverted, social and above all ambitious people. Everyone works hard but there is time for fun as well. All teams work together very closely and this results in a good work environment where you get to know each other on a personal level. For example, on a weekly basis the teams discuss with one another which candidates and clients the team will be working for. This contributes to a very friendly environment which allows me to get along with my coworkers well.
