Head of FP&A

We are looking for an experienced Head of FP&A & Group Performance who will report directly to the CFO. The role will lead the Group FP&A and Business Control function and build a forward-looking performance management capability across Keylane. This is a highly visible leadership role offering the opportunity to shape how performance is measured and managed across an international, PE-backed software business.

Omschrijving

Group Planning & Performance Management

• Lead the Group FP&A and Business Control function.
• Own the annual Budget, rolling Forecast and Long-Term Planning processes.
• Develop a robust Group performance management framework with clear ownership, accountability and forward-looking insights.
• Improve forecast accuracy, predictability and scenario planning.

Business Partnering

• Partner with business leaders to improve commercial and operational performance.
• Translate financial and operational information into actionable management insight.
• Support pricing, profitability, resource allocation and investment decisions.

Management Reporting

• Continue to professionalise Group management reporting and forecasting.
• Improve variance analysis and forward-looking performance reporting.
• Connect financial performance with commercial and operational KPIs including ARR, NRR, pipeline, pricing, delivery performance, capacity and cash generation.

Value Creation

• Support Keylane's value creation initiatives through business cases, financial analysis and performance tracking.
• Monitor benefits delivery and provide insight into key value drivers across the business.

Finance Data & Systems

• Work closely with Finance Systems, BI and commercial teams to improve data quality, reporting consistency and management insight.
• Support the further development of FP&A tools, planning models and reporting capabilities.

M&A Support

• Support financial due diligence, acquisition planning and post-merger integration from an FP&A perspective.
• Help integrate acquired businesses into Group planning, reporting and performance management.

Leadership

• Develop and coach the FP&A and Business Control teams.
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative and commercially minded finance organisation.

Profiel van kandidaat

We're looking for an experienced finance leader who combines strong analytical capability with commercial judgement and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Significant experience in a senior FP&A, Business Control or Commercial Finance leadership role.
• Experience within software, SaaS or technology businesses.
• Experience within a Private Equity-backed and/or M&A-driven international organisation.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of recurring revenue business models.
• Proven track record of improving planning, forecasting and management reporting.
• Strong understanding of performance management and business partnering.
• Experience working with SaaS metrics including ARR, NRR and related commercial KPIs is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, modelling and financial storytelling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex financial and operational information into clear management insight and decision support.
• Proven people leadership and coaching capabilities.
• Hands-on, pragmatic and comfortable operating in a fast-paced transformation environment.
