Supply Chain Coordinator EMEA

Are you a motivated Supply Chain and/or logistics professional who enjoys working in an international and dynamic environment? For an international organisation based in the centre of Rotterdam, we are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator EMEA.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring various aspects of the international supply chain. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, carriers and internal teams to ensure shipments, documentation and processes are handled accurately and on time.

What will you do?

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be an important link between different stakeholders within the supply chain. You will manage multiple processes simultaneously and ensure that shipments, documentation and agreements are followed up correctly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating various aspects of the supply chain process with customers, suppliers, carriers and other stakeholders.

• Entering, maintaining and monitoring bookings and shipments.

• Checking and processing transport and export documentation.

• Following up on export shipments across the EMEA region.

• Supporting suppliers with export-related questions and processes.

• Creating, maintaining and updating shipment and customer files.

• Preparing and processing quotations and invoices.

• Coordinating activities related to NVOCC operations, including Bills of Lading and related documentation.

• Supporting the implementation of new customers, suppliers, agents and carriers.

• Handling and following up on customer enquiries, claims and complaints.

• Monitoring agreed KPIs and service levels and coordinating with customers and internal operations teams.

• Contributing to high customer satisfaction and continuous improvement of the service provided.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership, enjoys working with different stakeholders and is able to maintain a clear overview in a fast-paced environment.

You bring:

• A completed MBO or HBO degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport or a related field.

• Approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience within logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, transport or a similar environment.

• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.

• Experience with international logistics processes, import/export and/or transportation.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset.

• Strong organisational and analytical skills.

• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.

• A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

What is offered?

• A gross monthly salary between €3,000 and €3,700, depending on experience.

• Full-time employment of 38.75 hours per week.

• 26 days of annual leave.

• One full month of holiday allowance, paid in May.
