Non-Financial Risk Manager (Interim) - Amsterdam For a financial services, we are looking for an experienced Non-Financial Risk Manager(interim) with a strong focus on Operational Risk, IT Risk and Enterprise Risk Management.

As a Non-Financial Risk Manager (Interim) you will support the organisation in identifying, assessing, monitoring and mitigating material non-financial risks.

The assignment covers operational and technology-related risks, as well as the coordination and further development of Enterprise Risk Management activities. You will work closely with stakeholders across the first and second lines of defence, including senior management, Operations, IT, Information Security, Compliance, Internal Audit and relevant risk committees.

You may also support regulatory initiatives, remediation programmes, operational-resilience activities and broader risk-transformation projects.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field;
• Significant experience in Non-Financial Risk, Operational Risk, IT Risk or Enterprise Risk Management;
• Previous experience within a bank or another regulated financial institution;
• Strong understanding of the three lines of defence model and second-line risk oversight;
• Experience with risk and control assessments, control testing, incident management, KRIs and remediation programmes;
• Knowledge of IT risk, information security, outsourcing, operational resilience and business continuity;
• Familiarity with DORA and relevant European banking regulations and supervisory expectations;
• Experience in developing or maintaining ERM and risk-appetite frameworks;
• Strong analytical, advisory and stakeholder-management skills;
• Ability to challenge constructively and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Able to work independently in a complex and changing environment;
• Professional fluency in English; Dutch is preferred.
