Logistics Invoicing Specialist

Are you an experienced logistics professional with a background in international sea freight and operational invoicing? Do you have a solid understanding of Incoterms and enjoy working in a fast-paced, international logistics environment? Then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As a Logistics Invoicing Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely financial processing of international sea freight shipments. You will work closely with Operations, Customer Service and Finance to guarantee that invoices, supplier costs and intercompany transactions are processed correctly while maintaining high service levels for customers worldwide.

This is a hands-on operational role where attention to detail, commercial awareness and knowledge of international shipping processes are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate customer invoicing for international sea freight shipments.
• Verify and process incoming supplier invoices while resolving discrepancies where required.
• Manage intercompany billing and support the resolution of billing disputes.
• Review transport costs and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and profitability.
• Work closely with Operations, Customer Service and Finance to resolve invoicing and cost-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and international shipping requirements.
• Apply your knowledge of Incoterms to ensure correct cost allocation and invoicing.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify process improvements and reduce revenue leakage.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience within Sea Logistics, Ocean Freight or Freight Forwarding.
• Proven experience with operational invoicing within an international logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms (essential).
• Experience working with international import and/or export shipments.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good command of English; Dutch is an advantage.
