Group Accounting Policy & Advisory

Robert Walters is partnering exclusively with a leading technology-enabled trading firm to recruit a Group Accounting Policy & Advisory Lead based in Amsterdam. This is a senior, high-visibility role sitting at the heart of the Group Reporting function, ideal for a technically strong accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, internationally connected environment.

The Role
- Coordinate the quarterly, half-year and annual financial reporting cycle
- Oversee IFRS and Dutch GAAP statutory reporting across the Group
- Manage all reporting and filing obligations for Group subsidiaries
- Act as internal subject matter expert on complex accounting standards
- Manage the relationship with external auditors
- Mentor and develop junior team members

What You'll Need
- Master's degree in Finance or Accounting plus an RA/RC qualification (or equivalent)
- 7–10 years of relevant professional experience
- Deep technical knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP
- Familiarity with IFR/IFD and capital requirement frameworks
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in an investment firm or crypto business is a strong advantage
