Your Role

As an Accountant, you'll combine accounting and tax work with client advisory responsibilities. Around 60% of your time will focus on preparing annual accounts and supporting tax compliance, while the remainder is spent advising clients, maintaining relationships, and contributing to the firm's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare annual accounts for sole proprietors, freelancers (ZZP), and BV structures
• Prepare personal income tax returns and support VAT, corporate tax, and payroll tax processes
• Discuss financial results and annual accounts with clients
• Answer client questions and provide practical financial advice
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Attend networking events and represent the firm professionally
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and client service
• Work closely with colleagues and tax specialists

What We're Looking For

• Experience within an accounting, audit, bookkeeping, or administration firm
• MBO+ or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience preparing annual accounts and income tax returns is a strong advantage
• Good knowledge of Dutch GAAP
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Proactive, accurate, and able to work independently

• Based in or within commuting distance of Lelystad

• Basic Dutch language skills and willingness to further develop your Dutch

International candidates are welcome, provided they are already based in the Netherlands, are legally eligible to work in the Netherlands, and are willing to learn Dutch.
