Accounting Officer Aerospace Dutch work permit

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Officer to join a dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate administration and contributing to process improvements. osition Overview

As an Accounting Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the smooth operation of the finance department. You will work closely with colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure timely processing of financial transactions and compliance with internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and record supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and execute payment runs
• Maintain accounts payable records and administration
• Handle vendor inquiries and follow up on payment-related matters
• Process employee expense claims and travel allowances
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Prepare VAT returns and financial reports
• Monitor and manage finance-related mailboxes
• Perform invoice reconciliations and account verifications
• Contribute to the optimization and improvement of finance processes

Requirements

• MBO/HBO degree or equivalent level of education
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role
• Accounting qualification or background is considered an advantage
• Experience with Exact Globe is preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, written and spoken
• Service-oriented team player with a proactive attitude and a willingness to contribute to organizational growth
