International Head of Accounting

Position Overview

Inseego is expanding its international business, supporting 5G fixed wireless access, mobile broadband, and connected devices. The Netherlands will be a principal hub for customer contracting and European import, export, distribution, and logistics; International Finance, Accounting, HR leadership will be based there as well as legal support.

This position will play a critical role in Inseego’s international operations with responsibility for accounting and reporting for the Netherlands entity and its subsidiaries around the world.

The position will report to the Vice President, International Finance and Accounting, build out a team of 3-4 team members (to be hired) and coordinate with Inseego’s tax provider (BDO), as well as local accounting teams in India and the parent company in the United States.

Description

Core Responsibilities

Accounting and Close leadership.

• Working with the VP, will build out a team and use 3^rd party service providers to be able to efficiently and accurately record journal entries for ~$50m of product revenue in EMEA, the associated COGS, and approximately 100 employees and related expenses.
• Responsible for monthly close process and for consolidation of international subsidiaries of the Netherlands holding company (total international revenue of ~$200m).
• Responsible for managing accounts receivables and payables and related operational accounting through hiring resources or using 3^rd

Group Audit and Sarbanes-Oxley Act responsibility. Partner with Inseego’s US Accounting Team to support consolidated audit and create process and controls to achieve compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).

Business Support. Work with the broader team (Sales, Operations, Researching and Development, etc.) to support Inseego’s growing business both in EMEA and Internationally.

Local Compliance. Work with Netherlands based Audit and Tax providers for statutory audits and ensure income and VAT tax compliance.

Profile

Candidate Profile

Experience and qualification.

• Qualified accountant with 8-12 years of post-qualification experience in the Netherland or another EU jurisdiction.
• Dutch qualification or substantial Netherlands experience is preferred

Commercial background. Broad, hands-on in-house experience supporting a multinational technology, telecommunications, wireless, connected-device, hardware, software, SaaS, or similarly regulated business, with strong commercial transactional capability.

Working style. Excited about learning and a positive attitude. Comfortable advising senior leaders a global matrix; fluent English required, with Dutch or another European language preferred. Pragmatic, collaborative, and effective in a fast-moving growth environment.
