Junior Accountant

Kick-start your accounting career with an international organisation in the medical technology industry. As a Junior Accountant, you'll support the financial administration of multiple European entities while gaining valuable experience in an international finance environment.

Your Role

As a Junior Accountant, you will support the Accounting Manager with daily accounting activities, month-end closings and financial reporting. You'll work with colleagues across Finance and other departments to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with local regulations.

What You Will Do

• Process day-to-day accounting transactions for multiple European entities
• Prepare journal entries in Oracle ERP
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with VAT and Intrastat filings
• Process payroll-related accounting entries
• Support internal and external audits
• Perform intercompany reconciliations
• Monitor General Ledger transactions from AP and AR
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Contribute to process improvements within Finance

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• A starter in accounting, with internship experience or some initial work experience
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• Professional proficiency in German is essential
• Fluent in English
• Basic knowledge of German GAAP (HGB)
• Experience with Oracle or another ERP system is a plus
• Strong Excel skills
• Accurate, analytical and well organised
• Available for 32–40 hours per week
• Living in the Netherlands and eligible to work in the Netherlands with a valid residence permit
