The Netherlands finance team plays a key role in supporting business performance, optimizing financial processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making. Based in a centrally located office in Utrecht, the team works closely with international stakeholders and supports both operational and strategic initiatives.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Controller to join the Management Control team. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact by supporting financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making across the organization.

As Senior Controller, you will work cross-functionally with business leaders, contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes, and support key investment and cost-efficiency initiatives. You will provide insight into financial performance and collaborate on strategic projects that drive value and growth across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis for different business lines and staff functions.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support budgeting and annual forecasting, translating departmental needs and priorities in line with business objectives.
• Support and contribute to the development of cost and pricing models, collecting data required for activity-based cost allocation.
• Manage and control project budgets and support financial analysis across various business plans and company-wide initiatives.
• Oversee cost control and drive margin improvement initiatives.
• Support audit processes and contribute to continuous improvements in financial systems and tools.
• Analyze operational and financial KPIs, identify trends or deviations, and proactively advise internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to cross-functional and corporate-level initiatives, including both organic and inorganic growth strategies.
• Participate in broad, company-level activities such as country reviews, administrative processes, and IT system implementations.

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Control, Management Control, or Management Accounting.
• Proven experience in a management control role, ideally in the telecom or technology sector.
• Deep understanding of financial planning, reporting, and control at the country level in a corporate setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with clear communication abilities.
• Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving business environment.
