The Senior Finance Manager leads the Record-to-Report (R2R) function and the Finance Data Projects team.
The role is responsible for high-quality financial reporting, ownership of the internal control environment, alignment with senior stakeholders, continuous improvement of month-end close processes, and close collaboration with an international Shared Service Centre (SSC).
The position acts as the primary point of contact for external auditors and IFRS-related matters, coordinates multi-country reporting activities, and drives finance transformation initiatives across the regional organisation.
Your knowledge and experience

Post-Master Accountancy or equivalent (RA / CPA preferred).

Senior profile with 5–10 years of experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting, or finance operations.

Strong background in IFRS, financial reporting, and internal controls within an international environment.
Your tasks and responsibilities

Lead the R2R function, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting (IFRS / local GAAP).

Own the internal control environment and act as key contact for external auditors and governance bodies.

Drive finance transformation through automation, data quality improvements, and process standardisation.

Coordinate multi-country reporting and collaboration with shared services and group stakeholders.

Act as PMO for finance transformation initiatives across R2R, P2P, and data flows.

Lead team transitions and change management, ensuring clear processes and stakeholder adoption.
Your tasks and responsibilities
Key activity 1: R2R Leadership & Financial Reporting
- Lead and manage the R2R team, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant month-end closes.
- Responsible for the consolidated annual report (IFRS/Dutch GAAP).
- First point of contact for external auditors; manage planning, execution and audit improvement.
- Assess commercial initiatives and new business models on financial reporting and IFRS impact.
Key activity 2: Internal Control Ownership & Finance Governance
- Own the internal control environment for financial reporting, ensuring alignment with Group Risk Management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and governance frameworks.
- Represent Finance in governance discussions, supporting the Head of Finance with communication toward Executive Board and Supervisory Board where needed.
- Drive remediation plans for control gaps and audit findings, ensuring timely resolution and sustainable improvements.
Key activity 3: Multi-Country Coordination
- Coordinate Benelux reporting topics with SSC Barcelona, Group Accounting Germany, and other international stakeholders.
- Ensure consistent processes, seamless handovers, and alignment with group accounting policies.
- Support global initiatives and participate in cross-country working groups impacting Finance.
Key activity 4: Transformation & Process Improvement
- Act as PMO for finance-related transformation projects.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve R2R, P2P, S2C and data flows.
- Simplify processes, reduce manual work, and drive standardisation across Benelux and GBS.
- Build a strong, future-proof finance organisation with clear structure and defined roles.

- Manage the Customer Order Management (COM)
