The Financial Planning Analyst supports the European office by increasing the company’s efficiency and
profitability, increasing financial awareness in day-to-day decision making, and delivering financial
wellness of Dole Packaged Foods Europe, ensuring delivery of fair value for our shareholders.

Your department/ team
You are passionate about building a purpose-driven career in nutrition and wellness. With strong
quantitative and analytical skills, you enjoy solving complex problems and uncovering root causes. You
ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the Leadership Team and wider organization, and you
excel in forecasting, cash flow analysis, and supporting long-term growth. You proactively collaborate
across teams to promote financial awareness and drive informed decisions.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• In-depth analysis and reporting of variances (Actual, Last Year, Forecast and Budget)
• In-depth analysis of and recommendations on financial and operational results to better
understand the company performance, such as product/department performance and result,
cost center results, cost saving initiatives, et cetera.
• Preparation of presentations for monthly meetings and internal reporting
• Communicating results and recommendations to leadership team for improvements that lead to
cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations
• Support in month-end closing process.
• Constant improvement & enhancing of reporting process by making use of our state of the art
reporting tool (SAP Analytic Cloud).
• Other duties as assigned

Your knowledge and experience
• Fluent in English
• Bachelor degree in Finance
• Professional qualification such as CA / CPA / CFA or equivalent is highly preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant analytical experience; professional training for 2 to 3 years in an
auditing firm is preferred
• Experience with BI and reporting tools as well as Excel
• Experience with SAP is highly preferred
• Experience in food industry or FMCG is preferred

Location/Travel
