Your department/ team

As a Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial processing. You will collaborate closely with multiple departments and contribute to the continuous improvement and professionalization of financial operations.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, including performing reconciliations;
• Preparing documentation for monthly closings, such as balance sheet reconciliations, provisions, and revenue analyses;
• Supporting consolidation activities and assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports;
• Delivering ad-hoc financial analyses and contributing to cross-functional initiatives;
• Reviewing financial data critically and ensuring efficient execution of financial processes;
• Preparing and maintaining structured periodic budget reports (including subsidies), in collaboration with project managers and other stakeholders;
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing enhancements to optimize financial processes.
  
  

Your knowledge and experience

Working in a scale-up environment offers strong development opportunities but can also require flexibility and adaptability. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, open to change, and willing to go the extra mile when needed while dealing with a certain level of uncertainty.

In addition, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

• A completed degree (HBO/University level) in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
• Strong knowledge of both Dutch GAAP and IFRS;
• Several years of experience in a similar finance or analytical role;
• Advanced Excel skills;
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably in a technology-driven production environment;
• A detail-oriented and analytical mindset with a high level of accuracy;
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to work in an international context;
• A proactive, hands-on attitude with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement;
• Willingness to work on-site five days per week;
• The ability to work independently while also seeking support when needed.
