Your department/ team
As Senior Accountant, you will be part of the Finance department and report directly to the Accounting Manager.

The Senior Accountant is responsible for correct corporate accounting operations and assists in consolidating, reporting, and analysing all financial activities within the organization.

Your tasks and responsibilities
• Review financial processes and improve them when required
• Resolve accounting problems
• Coordinate the financial accounting process within the assigned area
• Analyse the balances and P&L of all legal entities within the assigned area
• Prepare the monthly and annual closing
• Coordinate the preparation of audit files and act as the first contact for the auditor
• Liaise with Finance staff in the various areas to ensure financial information is complete and correct
• Assist the Financial Managers in performing financial analyses for budgeting and investment proposals and draft recommendations
• Ensure the corporate financial accounting operations are in compliance with company procedures and applicable legislation
• Report to the Accounting Manager
• Support employees on specific financial matters

Your knowledge and experience
• Bachelor's degree in Financial Accounting and Management
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Controlling and Business Finance
• Experienced in working in an (inter)national group environment
• Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP)
