Our client is seeking a passionate Customer Care Specialist to support their Sea Logistics team in Rotterdam. This versatile role serves as a crucial link between customers and internal stakeholders, encompassing commercial, customer service, daily planning, and administrative activities. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for their own customer portfolio, managing day-to-day interactions with existing customers and proactively engaging with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

What you'll do:
- Take over day-to-day interactions with existing customers
- Qualify and manage as the vocal point for your customers
- Engage proactively with internal teams to manage customers in your portfolio
- Manage the documentation process and liaise daily with the Operational Care Centre team for timely follow-up
- Oversee and manage the onboarding process of new customers in collaboration with outside sales and operational departments
- Offer proactive advice and consultancy, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Monitor internal data and customer indicators / KPI in accordance with customer expectations, action plans, offer solutions and continuous improvement
What you bring:
- Relevant working experience in sea freight and/or customer service
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to set priorities
- Customer service-oriented attitude
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent command of the English language; Dutch is an advantage
- Immediately available and eligible to work in The Netherlands
