What you'll do:

  • Maintain accurate stock records across multiple warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring all data aligns perfectly between three different platforms at all times.
  • Register customs goods meticulously within the WMS system, guaranteeing compliance with all relevant regulations and facilitating smooth customs processes.
  • Investigate discrepancies in warehouse stock levels by identifying root causes of errors and implementing effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate closely with customs authorities whenever certain goods cannot be booked out or when discrepancies arise, ensuring swift resolution through clear communication.
  • Engage proactively with clients to identify where errors occur in inventory processes, providing transparent updates and working together to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Optimise inventory by continuously seeking ways to improve stock accuracy and streamline warehouse procedures for better operational performance.
  • Analyse data from various sources to produce detailed reports that inform decision-making and highlight areas for process enhancement.
  • Support your small team by stepping into the warehouse when necessary, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to help wherever needed.
  • Communicate effectively with both American and Japanese stakeholders who value thorough root cause analysis and expect high standards of reporting.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives by regularly reviewing current practices and suggesting practical enhancements that benefit both the client and your team.

What you bring:

  • Advanced proficiency in English is essential for effective communication within an international context involving global stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience using Excel for data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving within supply chain or logistics environments.
  • Strong familiarity with various warehouse management systems (WMS) is required to maintain consistent stock records across multiple platforms.
  • Proven ability to create comprehensive reports that provide actionable insights into inventory trends and operational performance.
  • Experience analysing large datasets to identify patterns, discrepancies, or opportunities for process improvement within warehousing or logistics settings.
  • Background in roles such as Supply Chain Coordinator, WMS Analyst, Logistical Analyst, or Supply Chain Analyst is highly desirable for understanding industry best practices.
  • A collaborative mindset with readiness to support colleagues in a small team environment; willingness to assist in warehouse tasks when needed demonstrates flexibility.
  • Proactive approach towards problem-solving without adhering strictly to traditional office hours; adaptability is key given the dynamic nature of logistics operations.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement ensures you stay ahead of industry developments while contributing positively to team goals.
