Senior Treasury Specialist (Operations)

Based in Amsterdam, this highly specialized treasury team plays a critical role in supporting large-scale international funding activities, managing sophisticated financing structures, and executing complex treasury transactions across global markets.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Treasury Specialist, you will join a specialized treasury team responsible for managing a broad range of treasury operational activities connected to international funding structures and capital markets transactions.

You will gain exposure to complex treasury products while working closely with banking partners and internal stakeholders across finance, tax, legal and treasury teams internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage treasury operations / back-office and post-trade settlement processes
• Support execution and settlement of international treasury transactions
• Administer intercompany loans and financing documentation
• Coordinate treasury-related payment processes and cash flow management
• Process and manage financial instruments including bonds, commercial paper, derivatives and swaps
• Maintain treasury data and ensure operational accuracy within SAP
• Work closely with banking partners and internal stakeholders across multiple departments
• Support process improvements, treasury controls and operational excellence
• Ensure high quality documentation, compliance and audit readiness

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of relevant experience within treasury, banking operations, funding operations, or financial markets environments
• Experience within corporate treasury or roles involving direct interaction with banks and financial institutions
• Strong understanding of treasury products and financial instruments such as loans, bonds, commercial paper, FX, derivatives or swaps
• Experience managing financial documentation, settlements and transaction processing
• Hands-on experience with SAP Treasury or similar treasury management systems
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and operational accuracy
• Proactive mindset with confidence to take ownership independently
• Team-oriented personality with willingness to support junior colleagues when needed
• Strong communication skills and fluent English, with German language an advantage
